Brewdog - Lost Lager - 21st Century Pilsner

Brewdog - Lost Lager - 21st Century Pilsner

Why is it called Lost Lager? :- Over the decades lager has evolved due the help of advanced machinery and has gained a sustainable place in the beer market but it has lost its traditional flavors. At Brewdog the Lost lager takes back the ground lost over decades by lager monoliths. This is a dry-hopped beer using classic German hops. "This is the lager like it was, like it should be, like it will be. Lager is Back!" - Brewdog.
Alcohol Content :- 4.7% ABV
Brewed by Brewdog PLC
Made in Scotland

Appearance :- It is Straw to light gold in color. Clear in appearance. Medium head was formed with low head retention. Carbonation is high. Small and medium bubbles were formed on the head with finer bubbles on the top.

Aroma :- On the nose strong hop aromas are observed with hints of citrus and floral aromas.

Flavors :- The beer has very little sweetness with strong hop flavor. It has Toasty notes with hint of  Citrus.

Mouthfeel :- It is light to medium bodied. It is very refreshing and crisp on the palate. The bitterness is felt with very little sweetness at the start.

Overall Impression :- This is a very refreshing beer. Sweetness of the malt is very low but has good amount of hops aromas and flavors which is well balanced. It is an easy to drink beer and very different from the lagers that are available in the market. I would love to have the Lost lager just on its own. This is my most loved lager till date and would surely grab a case for a house party. I would highly recommend this beer to everyone and if this is the lager that was lost this seems like a good opportunity to tell a story.
