EIGHT FINGER EDDIE - I.P.A(India Pale Ale) - By Goa Brewing Co.
A Little about the Label :- In 1964 an American named Yertward Mazamanian came to Goa with his friends in a Camper Van exploring Iran, Pakistan, Nepal and India bringing along the Hippie Trail culture. He was more famously known as Eight Finger Eddie because he had 3  fingers on his right hand. He settled at Anjuna beach in 1966 and opened a Soup Kitchen to assist the growing number of European travelers making it a final stopping place on the 'Hippie Trail' - they would perform yogic exercises and smoke hashish pipes and argue over music. He fell in love with Goa and made the locals fall in love with the way he used to live. He became a legend in the area. Goa Brewing Company is paying tribute to that generation of travellers and paying homage to Eight Finger Eddie(Yertward) by their IPA.

Alcohol content :- 6%
Brewed by Goa Brew Craft Pvt Ltd(Goa Brewing Company)
Style :- India Pale Ale (IPA)
Appearance :- Bright golden to light amber in colour, medium head was formed with good head retention, small and medium bubbles were formed on the head, carbonation is high, flakes(sediments) were found in the glass. (If you see sediments in a glass or bottle its the yeast or the hops residue which impart flavors and keep the true essence of the beer).
Aromas :- Strong hoppy aromas on the nose with tropical notes of pineapple and kiwi. It has earthy notes as well.
Flavor :- Strong hop character and herbaceous notes of aloevera and mint with notes of tropical fruits i.e pineapple, kiwi, gauva and sour lychee.

Mouthfeel :- It is a very refreshing beer.  It is light to medium bodied. The beer has a touch of sweetness in the start with strong hop flavors. Creamy texture was felt on the palate with toasty notes.
Overall impression :- We all love history and what better way to get to know more if you get to taste it!
Strong hops with hints of tropical fruits in a beer is perfect for a lazy evening. It will make you feel refreshing for sure. This beer has been made very well, perfect for me. The artwork on the label distinguishes itself from all the other labels out there. I have personally visited the brewery and I have to say that the brewers work very hard as everything is done by hand. I got to taste the EFE directly from the line and I have to say that it was an experience which I will never forget. I am strongly recommending this beer to everyone out there and would surely share the history and my experience about the brewery.
(This is my personal review.
