In 1240 pilgrims were welcomed at Leffe and was decided to build a brewery since hospitality was a major part of the abbey.
The abbey & the brewery were closed during the French revolution until it was re-established in 1929. By 1952 with its well guarded recipe & brewing traditions Ab-Inbev committed to honor the tradition of the Leffe beer.

Overall Impression : This was a complex beer for me. Alot of aromas and flavors coming through. This was quite a pleasant amd well made beer. Gives you a good kick with good aftertaste and excellent in terms of body. All the elements together make it quite drinkable. This beer can be paired with a whole lot of foods like Sausages, BBQ's and all well done meat preparations. I highly recommend this beer to everyone out there and do grab hold of this beautifully crafted beer. I am definitely gonna go back for this soon. Cheers🍻.
