Hoegaarden - Wit Blanche (Witbier)

Hoegaarden - Wit Blanche (Witbier)
Alcohol Content :- 4.9% v/v
Style : Witbier
Brewed at InBev Belgium BVBA/SPRL, Hoegaarden, Belgium.

Appearance : The beer is Yellow in colour. Clear in appearance. A small head is formed. Head retention is good. White flakes are observed in the glass.
Aromas & Flavors : The beer gives out sweet Curacao orange peel aromas but low orange peel flavors. Hints of herbaceous notes of coriander and dill are observed. It has low malt aromas and flavors.
Mouthfeel : The beer is Crisp and refreshing on the palate. It is a light bodied beer. Carbonation is high. No astringency. An aftertaste of sweet malt can be detected.

Overall Impression : A well balanced Witbier I would say. Crisp and has refreshing taste. All the flavors are well balanced. None of the flavors overpower the other. This can be enjoyed anytime of the year. I paired this with Fish & Chips and it went very well. This can be enjoyed with light food like salads aswell. Priced at ₹120 In Goa and ₹240 in Mumbai seems like a good deal to me. Hoegaarden has been favorites among craft beer lovers and I would surely want to try more and better Witbier's that can be good competitors with this. Cheers
