Insel Brauerei - Baltic Dubbel 
Alcohol Content :- 8.5% v/v
Brewed at Rügener Insel - Brauerei GMBH, Germany.
Beer Style : Belgian Style Dubbel.


Appearance : The beer pours dark amber in colour. Medium head is formed. Head retention is good as it stay till the end. Lacing is observed.
Aromas : Sweet toasty and caramel like aroma comes from the malt. Medium alcohol warmth on the nose along with hints of light coffee. Aromas of red berries with hints of sweet spice and black pepper are observed. No hop aromas.
 
Flavor : The beer gives out sweet toasty and sweet spice caramel notes from the malt. It has flavors of subtle coffee which are prominent with subtle red berry and light peppery flavors. No hop bitterness detected.
Mouthfeel : The beer is medium to full bodied. It has a light coffee flavors which lingers on the palate with medium alcohol warmth. High carbonation with medium astringency. Leave a dry aftertaste.
Overall Impression : The beer is very smooth in texture. A complex beer with a balance of malts and abbey yeast. It is definitely boozy with heavy mouthfeel. The light coffee flavor and aroma stays till the end and gives a pleasant aftertaste. Hints of red berries with pepper and sweet spices enhances the beer giving it a subtle fruity flavor. This beer is more malt focused and a good example of perfectly balanced flavors and aromas. I paired this beer with soft cheese like Cheddar, Brie, and Blue cheese and it paired very well. Unfortunately this is not available in India yet but if this ever comes its gonna be a hit. Cheers🍺

Astringency is moderate and leaves a dry mouthfeel.  Overall Impression : I had hopes for this beer as it sat with me for a month during this lockdown and I have to say I am alittle disappointed with it. Kingfisher Ultra Witbier - Belgian White Alcohol Content : 4.6% v/v Brewed at United Breweries Ltd. India.   Appearance : The beer pours bright yellow in colour. Medium hazy in appearance. A small head was formed. Head retention is low. Aromas : Sweet orange peel aromas with hints of coriander and dry grass notes. No hop aromas. No malt flavors.   Flavor : The beer gives out light orange flavor with medium coriander flavors with herbaceous notes. No hop bitterness. Mouthfeel : This is a light bodied beer.  High carbonation with low astringency. Aftertaste of coriander that leaves a dry sensation on the palate. Overall Impression : The beer is Crisp and refreshing. The beer colour gives us a different imagine of what is actually inside the beer. BIRA 91 - Malabar Stout  (Brewed with Indian Coffee Beans) Alcohol content :- 4% - 5% ABV Brewed by B9 BEVERAGES PVT. LTD Product of India Appearance :- The colour is between Dark Amber to Dark Brown, carbonation is normal, small head is observed with good head retention, on the foam small and medium bubbles were formed, lacing is observed. Aroma :- Roasted coffee and Roasted Almonds on the nose with a hint of Goan port wine could be observed. Flavors :- On the palate light roasted coffee can be observed with sweetness of the malt with hint of chocolate and oats can be felt with well balanced bitterness. Mouthfeel :- It is Medium Bodied with moderate bitterness, creamy texture is low but the beer stays on the palate for a while.
