Stone White Geist - Berliner Weisse
About the Beer style : Berliner Weisse is a wheat beer style that originated in Northern Germany. The fermentation process takes place with a mixture of yeast and lactic acid that makes the beer sour in nature.
In the 19th century, Berliner Weisse was the most loved alcoholic beverage in Berlin and there were 50 breweries who were producing it. By the end of 20th century there were just 2 breweries that were producing it. Currently American and Canadian breweres who make this beer style sell their product and label it as Berliner Weisse.
