About the Brand : Peter Schöffer (1425-1503) the founder and a sophisticated brewer in his time with a distinctive taste and passion for beers. He was the first brewer to brew the wheat beer outside of Bavaria using modern techniques instead of the old beer brewing methods. Schöfferhofer beers became more popular in Germany after its advertising in 1978.

Appearance : The beer pours orange golden in colour with a cloudy and tall fluffy head. The head of white foam that lasts for a long time leaving some impressive lacing behind as it goes.
Aromas : Fruity esters of ripe Banana which is perfectly balanced with freshly baked bread aromas. A very good clove like aroma could be sensed accompanying light floral aromas on the nose. It also has a very light to none diacetyl aroma(buttery) which is somewhat pleasant.
Flavor : The beer has a similar flavors as felt on the nose with a fruity estery banana aroma. A slight Bubblegum flavor is felt because of the fluffyness. It has a medium low Clove finish which makes it floral and perfumed.
Mouthfeel : The Beer feels smooth and has a beautiful round body with a very refreshing character. It does have a sweet bread like sweetness with a short dry finish. The carbonation is moderate which is tingly and perfect for this beer. Medium to Medium light in body with a fluffy mouthfeel.

Overall Impression : The Schöfferhofer weizen is a perfect example of the Hefeweizen style. This is one of my favorite beers when I was travelling around and one of the most readily available beers not only in Germany but also in Spain, Portugal, Denmark. The beer is true to its style hitting the perfect notes on point but to me it felt it drew a point down in Body and could have a better mouthfeel. The yeast is truly the magic on this style and Schofferhofer will forever be my go to beer. Two of the Schöfferhofeer Weizen and you are already full. Highly recommended for wheat beer drinkers. Low coriander flavor. No hop bitterness or aroma.  A medium bodied beer with a moderate carbonation. Leaves a sweet wheat malt and a light citrus aftertaste. Astringency is moderate and leaves a dry mouthfeel.  Overall Impression : I had hopes for this beer as it sat with me for a month during this lockdown and I have to say I am alittle disappointed with it. Kingfisher Ultra Witbier - Belgian White Alcohol Content : 4.6% v/v Brewed at United Breweries Ltd. India.   Appearance : The beer pours bright yellow in colour. Medium hazy in appearance. A small head was formed. Head retention is low. Aromas : Sweet orange peel aromas with hints of coriander and dry grass notes. No hop aromas. No malt flavors.   Flavor : The beer gives out light orange flavor with medium coriander flavors with herbaceous notes. No hop bitterness. Mouthfeel : This is a light bodied beer.  High carbonation with low astringency. Aftertaste of coriander that leaves a dry sensation on the palate. Overall Impression : The beer is Crisp and refreshing. The beer colour gives us a different imagine of what is actually inside the beer. BIRA 91 - Malabar Stout  (Brewed with Indian Coffee Beans) Alcohol content :- 4% - 5% ABV Brewed by B9 BEVERAGES PVT. LTD Product of India Appearance :- The colour is between Dark Amber to Dark Brown, carbonation is normal, small head is observed with good head retention, on the foam small and medium bubbles were formed, lacing is observed. Aroma :- Roasted coffee and Roasted Almonds on the nose with a hint of Goan port wine could be observed. Flavors :- On the palate light roasted coffee can be observed with sweetness of the malt with hint of chocolate and oats can be felt with well balanced bitterness. Mouthfeel :- It is Medium Bodied with moderate bitterness, creamy texture is low but the beer stays on the palate for a while.
