The beer pours bright golden in colour and is highly effervescent in the glass. It is clear in appearance with a small head. Head retention is low as the beer gets warmer the head dessipates.

The beer has a sweet Citrus and spice aroma and flavor to it. This is a light to medium bodied beer. A sweet malt body accompanying the citrus lime flavor is prominent which feels like an artificial flavoring agent added to enhance the flavor. The hop bitterness is low but has a very unpleasant mouthfeel and aftertaste. This beer is highly effervescent and has carbonation bite with low astringency.

Overall impression : This wasn't a pleasant beer experience I would say. This does have its refreshing character but has an odd bitter flavor from the hops which leave an unpleasant aftertaste. The beer is said to have Aromatisee Tequila to give it a distinctive taste but I guess they are working too hard on creating that flavor. This beer is very popular among music festivals and is one of the best selling beers but to me it tasted a bit odd. Priced at 180₹ in Goa.

A small head was formed. Head retention is low. Aromas : Sweet orange peel aromas with hints of coriander and dry grass notes. No hop aromas. No malt flavors.   Flavor : The beer gives out light orange flavor with medium coriander flavors with herbaceous notes. No hop bitterness. BIRA 91 - Malabar Stout  (Brewed with Indian Coffee Beans) Alcohol content :- 4% - 5% ABV Brewed by B9 BEVERAGES PVT. LTD Product of India Appearance :- The colour is between Dark Amber to Dark Brown, carbonation is normal, small head is observed with good head retention, on the foam small and medium bubbles were formed, lacing is observed. Aroma :- Roasted coffee and Roasted Almonds on the nose with a hint of Goan port wine could be observed.
