Arbor - Banglore Bliss - Wheat Beer Alcohol Content :- 5.5% v/v IBU : 15 Brewed in Arbor Brewing Company Pvt Ltd, Pernem, Goa. Appearance  : The beer is light gold in colour. Low haze is observed. A small head is formed. Head retention is low. Aromas  : Moderate banana aromas accompanied with citrus and moderate clove aromas. Hints of pineapple and peach are observed. Flavor  : Banana flavors are accompanied with light citrusy flavors. Moderate clove flavors. Perceived bitterness is moderate. Low malt sweetness. Mouthfeel  : It is a medium-light bodied beer. Crisp on the palate. High carbonation with medium astringency. Aftertaste of cloves and hop bitterness that lingers on the palate. Mahou - Premium Lager Beer Alcohol Content :- 4.7% v/v Brewed at Mahou India Pvt. Ltd. The beer pours Gold in colour. Clear in appearance. Small head is formed. Head retention is low. The beer gives out bread dough aroma and flavor. Perceived bitterness is moderate. It is a light bodied beer with high carbonation. It has medium astringency with a grainy aftertaste. Overall Impression : The beer is crisp and has a refreshing character. Its main focus has been put on the malt and hops that give the beer a distinctive taste. The beer has a slight skunky aroma to it but on the palate its very clean. The beer has a good malt body which is very light on the palate. One can enjoy multiple pints over fried fish. Kingfisher Ultra Witbier - Belgian White Alcohol Content : 4.6% v/v Brewed at United Breweries Ltd. India.   Appearance : The beer pours bright yellow in colour. Medium hazy in appearance. A small head was formed. Head retention is low. Aromas : Sweet orange peel aromas with hints of coriander and dry grass notes. No hop aromas. No malt flavors.   Flavor : The beer gives out light orange flavor with medium coriander flavors with herbaceous notes. No hop bitterness. Mouthfeel : This is a light bodied beer.  High carbonation with low astringency. Aftertaste of coriander that leaves a dry sensation on the palate. Insel Brauerei - Baltic Dubbel  Alcohol Content :- 8.5% v/v Brewed at Rügener Insel - Brauerei GMBH, Germany. Beer Style : Belgian Style Dubbel. Appearance : The beer pours dark amber in colour. Medium head is formed. Head retention is good as it stay till the end. Lacing is observed. Aromas : Sweet toasty and caramel like aroma comes from the malt. Medium alcohol warmth on the nose along with hints of light coffee. Aromas of red berries with hints of sweet spice and black pepper are observed. No hop aromas.   Flavor : The beer gives out sweet toasty and sweet spice caramel notes from the malt. Saint & Sinner - Trapist Style Ale About the company : The brewery is situated in Sangolda, Goa inside a small 250 year old Indo-Portuguese house (something that you dont get to see everyday). Mr. Suraj Shenai is the founder and CEO of the Goa brewing company. He started of with homebrewing along with Mr. Ashtavinayak Paradh who at that time had just finished his PhD in brewing. GBC are non-conformists as they do not follow any particular style. They try to break the rule in terms of beer making to get their desired 'flavors'. They are open to ingredients hence that make them experimental with their beers. The fermentation process takes place with a mixture of yeast and lactic acid that makes the beer sour in nature.  In the 19th century, Berliner Weisse was the most loved alcoholic beverage in Berlin and there were 50 breweries who were producing it. By the end of 20th century there were just 2 breweries that were producing it. Currently American and Canadian breweres who make this beer style sell their product and label it as Berliner Weisse. Hoegaarden - Wit Blanche (Witbier) Alcohol Content :- 4.9% v/v Style : Witbier Brewed at InBev Belgium BVBA/SPRL, Hoegaarden, Belgium.   Appearance : The beer is Yellow in colour. Clear in appearance. A small head is formed. Head retention is good. White flakes are observed in the glass. Aromas & Flavors : The beer gives out sweet Curacao orange peel aromas but low orange peel flavors. Hints of herbaceous notes of coriander and dill are observed. It has low malt aromas and flavors. Mouthfeel : The beer is Crisp and refreshing on the palate. It is a light bodied beer. Carbonation is high. No astringency. An aftertaste of sweet malt can be detected. Overall Impression : A well balanced Witbier I would say. Crisp and has refreshing taste. All the flavors are well balanced. None of the flavors overpower the other.
